Passiontide walk

Am praying for sunshine tomorrow.  At the moment it is pouring down.

For the 4pm family service at St A’s I’ve planned a passiontide walk with clues to follow.  It will begin on the playing field where we will hunt for palm crosses.  We will then follow someone with a jar of water to the old restored chapel which is now an art gallery.  There we will do some foot washing and lay the table for the last supper.  The old vicarage garden is going to become Gethsemane.  There are lots of clues hidden here. We are then going to carry a cross up the hill to the graveyard.

This will not work well if we have to have umbrellas and raincoats.

And I so need this to work!  A lot of folks that are on the fringe of church life come.  So often we go from Palm Sunday to Easter day not hearing the stuff in between.
