Vicar and I have managed to meet three days in a row for morning prayer. (I can’t remember the last time that happened). Does this mean we are less busy or perhaps we are prioritising better? Can we keep it up for the whole week?
Seriously, how do other clergy manage meeting to pray in large spread out rural benefices? To meet one of us has to get into a car. (OK he does drive a Prius but I don’t). If we did a rota to say morning prayer in each church on a certain day of the week, both would have to get in the car. There would be some mornings we would clock up 20 miles between us.
Perhaps it would be better for the environment if we did it by skype!
PS. ‘The doctor’ says I’m to get on my bike.
