holding others

marc-chagall-red-pieta-1956Listening to another of John Bell’s songs

‘Silence, My Soul,

Resist the voices that clamour for the place you owe the Lord.

As grief needs tears and joy needs laughter

confusion craves a deeper word.’

This is a picture called the Red Pieta by Marc Chagall (1956)

Today, there have been lots of sad stories to listen to and hold before God.  So glad God can hold them all for me as my arms are not big enough.
